DT Challenge Layout

Hi all dearies, here we present our first post of the blog as an explanation of our DT call challenge so all of you can have a clear picture of what do to exactly….

This layout is made by very talented, our beloved sweetie pie Uma Didwania as an appreciation note for you all who want to come out with their talents and shine like a star among others without any hesitation of being unknown by our crafting world….

Uma has created this awesomely beautiful layout for you all by using TECS’s cut outs as per challenge sketch. We will now explain how she followed and created it---

First of all take any base as you like, it can be a card, a layout, a bag, a box, an album or something else as per your choice. Uma took a 12x12 sheet of ecru color as base. Then she used three strips of pattern papers to place like sketch on left side of layout by distressing their edges.

Then Uma used a stencil and used it with white gesso upon strips and in the right-side upper corner to create a base. Then she used pink and peach color sprays and spattered black and white color dots. Now base is ready as per layout sketch given by us.

Now Uma placed a wooden dial and a title from TECS on strips as per sketch and a TECS bird cage in the right-side upper corner as shown in sketch. Now she added a photo upon dial and then added her awesome handmade beautiful flowers, pollens, leaves and spirals around the dial and upon cage, and added quotation stamped upon white paper and distressed with pink colour. She added few threads and a TECS butterfly too so layout can be enhanced with more charm…

I hope, now the idea of challenge would be clear to all of you. Base can be anything, you can use whatever you have, and just use 4-5 elements from TECS like Uma did, and send us your entries via email till November 29^th so we choose our precious buddies to grow together.
